More InfoLeft-Handed version of our popular Euro Standard Antique step up model violin.
*Please note, MOST people NO NOT play a left-handed violin! We recommend that all beginners start on a standard (right-handed) violin if they don't already play left-handed. There are a few fiddle players that play left-handed. This is mostly because they already played other instruments left-handed, or have a handicap, such as a missing finger, that would require them to play left-handed. There are no known classical violinists that play left-handed, so please consult with your teacher before making the decision to start left-handed. We wouldn't want to see anyone's hopes and dreams cut short.*
If you still want (or need) to get a left-handed violin, this Euro model is a nice choice. We love this model for the quality at an affordable price! Made in Romania, the Euro violins typically have a nice, rich, dark tone not often found in violins in this price range. Matte finish is slightly antiqued to look older. Aged tonewood is straight, and attractively finished with mild shading. Ebony fittings, inlaid purfling, set up and adjusted in our shop to play great! Instrument only, or available a package with an oblong, suspension, hardshell case, and a German brazilwood bow with horsehair.
