It's hard to believe we have already had 10 wonderful years in our present location, and over 18 years for the business! We've made some great friends, and have seen a lot of players grow up over the years. We are looking forward to many more years and generations of bowed stringed-instrument players! If you haven't been by the shop in a while, please drop in and say hi. We always have something new and exciting going on! Be sure to find us on You Tube, like us on facebook.
Our historical 100+ year-old, 4000 sq ft house was once the location of the prominent Siegrist Bakery. For many years the bakery was operated out of the basement, while the Siegrists lived and sold pies in this neighborhood and the (then new) Arcade near downdown Nashville. The basement now houses our larger work areas for basses and cellos, as well as provides overflow storage. The main level of this grand old house has three showroom areas full of instruments and supplies. We also have our main repair shop on this level. Upstairs, we have four dedicated, climate-controlled rooms, allowing us to offer a more comfortable atmosphere, more teachers, and more times to fit the needs of our expanding lesson program. We offer lessons for violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, mandolin, keyboard, fiddling, and Suzuki lessons. We have nine teachers on staff to accommodate any style and level of playing for any age!
We know you will feel comfortable in our old-world shop with its hardwood floors, high ceilings, and rich, dark, wood trim. As we enter our 18th year of business, we are committed to providing the same outstanding service you have come to expect from Nashville Violins. Thank you for your support!
