1/2 size Wurlitzer violin, made in 1934 Rudolf Prosek, Czechoslovakia

This is a wonderful, little gem of a violin! It isn't often that we come across an older violin like this in a 1/2 size. This violin is over 80 years old, and has been in the hands of children for some of that time, so it does have some wear and a few dings, but overall it is in remarkably good condition. There are no serious issues. The finish is an attractive reddish-brown shaded over a warm amber, medium-wide grain spruce top, mildly-flamed maple back, sides, and neck, ebony fitting, 4 Wittner tuners. Has a small, comfortable neck, and a sweet tone.
